What does it mean when you have small itchy red bumps on your arms and legs and canker sores on your lips?

My bumps are small and red and itchy at first, but the itchyness eventually goes away. It has only been two days i have had this and each day i get more little red bumps on my skin. Now i have like 5 canker sores on my lips and it really hurts. I also have more canker sore in my mouth. I do not really feel sick or feverish.

What does it mean when you have small itchy red bumps on your arms and legs and canker sores on your lips?
This does not sound like hives (an allergic reaction) but it could still be some kind of reaction to something you ate, or something your skin in coming in contact with --i.e. soaps, detergents or fabric softeners. Or you could be developing a viral rash. You may want to go to the doctor for the rash to get some type of medications for relief

Canker sores usually go away without any treatment. For pain relief, you can try taking ibuprofen (brand name: Advil) or acetaminophen (brand name: Tylenol). Other medicines, such as Anbesol, Oragel, Orabase and Zilactin-B, might keep your canker sores from becoming irritated by eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. You put these medicines right on the sore.

You can also mix equal amounts of Milk of Magnesia and Benadryl Allergy liquid. After it's mixed, you can swish a teaspoonful in your mouth for about 1 minute and then spit it out. If you do this every 4 to 6 hours, your canker sores may hurt less.

Some people think that sucking on zinc lozenges, taking vitamin C or vitamin B complex, using a sage-and-chamomile mouthwash or taking a lysine supplement helps their canker sores heal faster.
Reply:I would suggest that you go to the doctor and have them examined because it may be herpes or some kind of virus.
Reply:canker sores on your lips sounds like a doctor problem-skin problem might be poison ivy or oak-you should get checked out
Reply:It sounds like you are spreading it. You need to wash your hands constantly and consult a physician.
Reply:My first impression...I've had something similiar to this. It sounds like you may be having an allergic reaction to something. Think...are you taking any new medication? Have you changed bath soaps or laundry detergents? Look up anaphylactic shock for more info on this type of rash.
Reply:you might have an STI (sexually transmitted infection) so you need to go to the doctor and have it checked out because with some of the infections you cant tell what the symptoms are unless YOU GO GET CHECKED OUT!
Reply:It doesn't sound like an STD based on that you have a canker AND the red bumps. Herpes doesn't really manifest itself like that. However... go to the doc. If you don't have insurance... go to a free clinic anywhere. It's better to be safe then sorry.
