Razor bumps/burns "down there"?

i shave down there, but always a few days after, i get these horrible bumps, almost like skin irritations, and they burn when anything rubs against it. should i just stop shaving? or is there any way to get rid of these?

Razor bumps/burns "down there"?
First off, you shouldn't shave everyday. I like to shave every 3 days. Second, use a good creamy conditioner and leave it on for a minute or two before shaving. There is also a creme found online that is meant just for shaving down there. It's called Coochy Shaving Cream. It softens the hair so it's easier to shave. There's also a Japenese shaver that is suppose to work really good, it's called Seiko Cleancut.

Also, this is a big must. Make sure it's a clean razor. I know a lot of people say to use a new razor, but I have had bad experiences from using a brand new razor. It shouldn't be dull though, just not brand new. And make sure you don't go over each patch more than a couple times. That causes me to bleed and it causes razor burn.

I used to get razor burn real bad, but now I rarely get it. The only irritation I get is where my underwear digs into my skin on the bikini line. There's no stopping that...unless you go without wearing underwear. However, that may not even stop it, cause that's where there's a natural crease in you skin, so they tend to rub together.

Oh, and DON'T use razorless shaving gels/cremes like Nair or Veet. That's asking for irritation. I've never had any good experience from those.

Waxing is a maybe. You usually have to have longer hair to do that, so you'll have to grow it out. And to get a good job you may need a professional to do that, and that would be a pain to get it done every couple weeks.

Good-luck!
Reply:you can wax, or use bladeless shaving lotion like veet and nair.
Reply:wat the sake you want to shave off youre virgin part . you shouldnt it all normale for ladies to have hairs down there . if you cant handle the pain then why you cant just leave it alone / plus if you keep shaving by useing the razor you will have a infoection diease or even bad horrbile rashes that you wouldnt cant get rib of it at all. you should buy a new comftable panties instead that wouldnt even gave you bad itches or even pulling youre unwanted hairs down there . no u shouldnt use any other products to remove hairs thats will feel painful even bleed . no nairs products lotions doesnt even work at all . i think you should talk t youre doctor about this problem youre having .
Reply:maybe you should get some burn powder or skin cream? It might feel weird but if you keep it up the burn will go away in about a week. P.S This kind of thing is perfectly normal.
Reply:I notice using a dull razor makes this happen to me, afterwords use lotion and like the other lady said don't shave so often, every 3 days is often enough, give the hair time to emerge before shaving, you could be training the hair follicle to be ingrown by shaving that often. Good Luck!
Reply:How about trying a electric shaver?
