Bumps on arms?

i have these little patches of bumps on my skin. they are red. i pick at them and then they break out into scabs that never go away. i also have them on my checks.

what is that. and they are not pimples. i know that for a fact. what are some products i can use to clear it up. does anyone else get this?

Bumps on arms?
For your arms, I think I know what you should try.

Try exfoliating for a couple days, and see how that works for you. I recommend using a scrub for your feet called "Toe The Line." You can find it at Bath %26amp; Body Work. I use it on my legs and it makes them really smooth. It MIGHT make your bumps clear up a little bit.

Since your arms are a little more sensitive than your feet, I suggest not scrubbing hard with the scrub because it's made for your feet, so it's more coarse.

Hope you find something that works!
Reply:I do!!!! Sucks, I know...I just always use sugar scrub and a good loofah on them. It makes them feel and look smoother.
Reply:that happened to me too, except i got them on my arms and legs, its because of dry skin, so just put some lotion on them everyday and it should go away.
Reply:yes. my friend does. she only has them on her cheeks. she tried laser surgery but it didn't work. That is something that is going to have to grow out when you are older.
Reply:they are maybe a rash........ewwwww!!!!!!
Reply:sounds like eczema. try using aqueous cream or e45, and stop using drying or perfumed products on your face. if you go to the doctor you can get ot on prescription and its free! yey! lol, he can also advise you about how you can change your diet to improve it.
Reply:I would really get this checked out by a doctor if I were you. In that past two weeks have you started any new medicines? In the meantime try some Benedryl. But seriously call a medical professional about this.
Reply:Sounds like eczema.

See your doctor and get a prescription cream. It will clear in a week.

You should probably stop taking dairy products too. Dairy allergies can cause that also.
Reply:its called keratosis pilaris. its a skin condition. 50% of the people in the whole world has it. including me :-(

just use moisterizer day and night

i went to a dermatalist and they gave me lotion for my face and a diff lotion for my arms.

so i would go to the dermataligist.

its only treatable, not curable.
Reply:Hey yours are red so it would be i type of eczem because my friend had that kind
Reply:i dont get them, no...

go see the skin doctor(cant remember what the official name is lol) ask him for products that would be good 4 YOUR skin...
Reply:This sounds like psorasis. This is a somewhat serious, yet manageable skin disorder. You should not try and pick them off, or "scrub" them off w/ a loofah.

Definitely go to a dermatolgist, and get a professional opinion, and some prescription medication. If you have insurance, this should be covered.

Reply:there's actually a name for the skin condition you have called Keratosis Pilaris the solution?

there is no cure however Lactic acid (a very effective form of alpha hydroxy acid) can help exfoliate skin cells, but lactic acid is not effective for dissolving lipids, so it can penetrate into the pore and exfoliate the lining of the pore that is a major cause of the problem. For that, you would need beta hydroxy acid product with the active ingredient salicylic acid. It's also helpful to avoid bar soaps that can irritate or clog pores. A gentle body wash is best.

Reply:It is probably eczema. go to the dermaltologist and thery can give you a crem for them.
Reply:Exfoliation is important. I don't know much about scrubs or loofahs but I can tell you about AHAs. Some common AHA's are lactic acid, malic acid, and glycolic acid. Lactid acid can be found in moisturizers such as AmLactin and LacHydrin 5. AmLactin has more Lactic acid but you should consider both. I find them a bit "pricy" but it works for most people.
