I have this bump on my bottom eyelid its the color of my skin and its not a stye i had it for 3 yrs & no pain?

yeah so i had it for a while its painless smooth and it get in the way sometime. i dont see it and it doesnt affect my vision?

could be a granuloma? if its on the eyelid it can cause the cornea to dry as the eyelid doesnt shut all the way?
Reply:It's probably a benign skin tag. Some feel that these are caused from too much cholesterol in the system, but they could just pop up for no reason.


If you are concerned about it, visit a doctor. These skin tags can be easily removed by a doctor, if you feel you want it removed. Otherwise, don't worry about it. Unless it is a vanity issue, leave it alone.


I've had a few for several years. They seem to go down and then, at times, swell again. But, they do not cause any problems and my doctor has informed me of the facts.
